NFPA 1410 Evolution 9: Elevated Master Stream

In this evolution an elevated master stream device will be put into operation and the truck will be supplied by an engine.
This evolution is complete when the engine is hooked up to the hydrant and supplying the truck's elevated master stream with at least 500 GPM. The recommended completion time for this evolution is 4 minutes.
Start by staging apparatus away from the fire scene.
2. Truck to Fire Scene
The truck should proceed to the fire scene. Time begins when the truck stops at the fire scene. All firefighters should exit the truck, and the truck should begin setting up to deploy their elevated master stream device.
3. Engine to Fire Scene
The engine should proceed to the fire scene after a 30 second delay. The engine should stop at the truck, remove supply lines, and secure them. Once secured the engine should proceed to the water source, and the elevated master stream should be connected to the supply lines.
4. Secure Water Source and Flow Water
The engine should then proceed to the water source laying at least 300' of supply lines. The engine will be placed into pump, secure the water source and supply the elevated master stream. Once the water supply is established and the elevated master stream is flowing at the required rate and pressure the scenario is complete.
