Description
Second alarm, fire bombing at a three story, five unit apartment house. Fire flashed over on the first floor as crews tried to make entry.
Rescue
Two victims trapped on the third floor and removed via ground ladders.
Exposures
Exposure damage to 71 Glendale Park. Fire started on the first floor and quickly spread up the front and side of the house due to asphalt siding.
Lessons Learned
Aggressive search and rescue should be coupled with hose line advancement at well-involved fires.
