How to Sign in

  1. On your Desktop, open a browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari).
  2. On the Address Bar, enter incidentsmart.com.
    1. The IncidentSmart website opens.

  3. Click Login.
    1. The Sign In window appears.

  4. Enter your credentials.
  5. In the Email Address field, enter the registered email address.
  6. In the Password field, enter your password.
    1. Note : if you forgot your password, click the Forgot your password? link.
  7. Select the Remember me? checkbox to save the Email Address and Password to automatically logon in the future.
    1. You will be directed to the IncidentSmart Dashboard page.

How to Manage Your Account

  1. In upper right corner of the page click the Wrench icon.
    1. A sub-menu opens.

  2. Click Manage.
    1. The Manage Your Account page opens.
  3. Update all details if necessary:

  1. In the Full Name field, enter/edit your full name.
  2. In the Department field, enter/edit the department you are in.
  3. In the Email Address field, enter your email address.
  4. Continue editing the remaining fields or scroll down at the bottom of the page and click Update Informationto save the changes.

Adding User Image

  1. In the User Image field, click the Browse icon.
    1. The File Location window opens.

  2. Select the image to be added.
  3. Click Open.
    1. Note : to remove the image, select the Remove user image checkbox.
  4. Continue editing the remaining fields or scroll down at the bottom of the page and click Update Informationto save the changes.

  5. Select the Check this box if you do not want to be emailed updates about IncidentSmart checkbox, if you do not wish to receive email updates about IncidentSmart.
  6. Select the Make my profile private checkbox if you want to make your profile private.
  7. Continue editing the remaining fields or scroll down at the bottom of the page and click Update Informationto save the changes.

Changing Password

  1. Scroll down to the Change Password section.
  2. In the New Password field, enter the new password.

  3. In the Confirm New Password field, re-enter the new password for confirmation.
  4. In the Current Password field, enter the current password for verification.

  5. Click Update Information.
    1. The updated information will be saved.

How to Access Your Messages

  1. In upper right corner of the page, click the Wrench icon.
    1. A sub-menu opens.

  2. Click Messages.
    1. Note : you can directly access an unread message by clicking the Envelop icon beside the Wrench icon.
    2. The Message Center page opens.

  3. In the Messages pane, click a message to open.
    1. The selected message will appear in the message content pane.

How to Access IncidentSmart Help

  1. In upper right corner of the page click the Wrench icon.
    1. A sub-menu opens.

    1. The IncidentSmart Help page opens.

How to Sign Out

  1. In upper right corner of the page click the Wrench icon.
    1. A sub-menu opens.

  2. Click Sign Out.
    1. You will be logged out.

Adding Contacts

  1. In the Quick Links Bar, click Contacts.
    1. You will be directed to Your Contacts page.

  2. Click the Find more contacts button.
    1. The IncidentSmart Users page opens.
    2. Note : to delete a contact, click the Remove button.
  3. Click the Search drop down menu to select a search filter:
    1. Search by Name
    2. Search by Department

  4. Enter a keyword and click the Magnifying Glass icon to start searching.
    1. Keyword/s related results will appear on the list below.
  5. Select a contact to add by clicking the +Add as Contact link.
    1. The contact request will be sent to the selected contact.
